Auctioning off a broken GN250 Suzuki for cheap

this is a promotion for and ad I listed on trademe

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-732512924.htm

"for sale 2005 suzuki gn 250 was on a road trip now am selling located in Taihape. THIS BIKE IS BROKEN at the moment! There is top end rattling, may have cam and top end problem maybe an easy fix for some one with the no how.

The bike also has an added windshield and hand warmers.

The bike had the seat and gas tank removed while some mechanics looked at it.

I took it on a long road trip just before this problem happened. Noise came about just on the last stretch of my trip. The rego and wof expired just as I left the country (28th of April). If I had more time there I would have taken it apart myself. i think it would have easily been fixed and I would have been able to sell it for more. But with a broken bike that has no current REG or WOF, i realise I'm not going to get much for it. So please help me get rid of this.

can contact me also at drkghst14@yahoo.com

I would have had the sense to sell it for a lot more if the wof and reg wasn't expired, but without em that eliminates over and additional $500 I could have sold it for. You got a steal there buddy.

Damn, cam and rockers already ordered. The cam is actually not too bad, but the rockers are fucked. Guy I bought it off, got quoted $900 by bike shop to repair.

NO .. it doesn't. The NEW owner is only required to re-licence from the date of change of ownership. (or place rego on hold) The Registration is removed from the system after 12 months after rego expiry. The previous owner (YOU) is responsible for unpaid rego. (until the date of change of ownership)

The new owner has about 10 months to repair the bike and NOT re-vin and renew registration. UNLESS YOU DO THE CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP. They then ... can place the rego on hold.
