Yeah, definitely interested. Be keen on any further details you could give me on it; service history, general condition, etc. Not keen on anything that's been run into the ground, but don't want a garage queen either haha (they tend to cost too bloody much!).
If you could pass along my details, or give me his details to get into contact, that'd be much appreciated. I'll send you a PM.

    Cheers.

Had one in Auckland lined up that I was going to get, but could only get up there on Saturday, and it looks like it has sold today

ah I considered that one but thought the tyga tail was awful, the front of an 80s bike with the back of starship enterprise. My main worry was that the subframe may had been modified to fit it making it difficult to put an original tail back on.

Yeah that tail kit uses a completely different subframe IIRC.

    LAMS Approved

Just a question to the wiser motorcycle heads, is the VFR400 an approved learner motorcycle or not? there seems to be some debate about it with a guy selling one on trademe.

No, it isnt. I informed that guy that it isnt on the list, but he is still telling people it is approved. The RVF400 is approved, not the VFR.

Quite common people do it for some of the other bikes that have a new lams approved restricted model, so sellers seem to think their 80hp model will be approved too :-p

Have got a spare subframe if that helps, no rear fairings tho.

Thanks, but it sold to someone else
It's proving quite hard to find an NC30 with any kind of service history, or anything approaching original bodywork.
    Maybe I'm being too fussy...

Still looking, money is burning a hole in my pocket, I need to spend it!
