I have used this bike as a daily commuter when the weather has been nice.
I have owned her for 2.5 years and always treated her well. Tried to avoid rain and done frequent oil and fluid changes and general maintenance.
Good parts;
Nearly new front and rear Michelin all weather tyres. About 500Ks on them.
New Front and rear sprocket, and chain about 500Ks ago. Always cleaned with petrol and well oiled.
Brand new rear OEM brake calliper with pads and master cylinder, including full fluid replacement. Less than 10ks on. I did this because the rear brake was getting a bit sticky and thought it might seize soon.
Oil changed about 300Ks and have a spare oil filter and oil to go with the bike.
Starts first or second time in cold morning weather, and always first time when warm.
Bad parts;
I think the the valves have become a bit tappy in the past few weeks, clears when engine warm. Not a problem for me but may wish to have clearance checked.
I was unfortunate to have an argument with a fence on the right-hand side of the bike. These can be seen in the photos. Really minor damage. Just clipped a post trying to dodge a car in my driveway at 10KPH. Thankfully, my stupid ass was under the bike so took the hit when she fell. I took her apart to clean and check everything and no damage.
The exhaust is a little oxidized and could do with a proper clean. Previous owner seems to have gone to town on it with something slightly abrasive as it has swirls. Never bothered me but there is lots of internet advice on making her look awesome.
Also has some white paint transfer on the tail from something clipping it. Not sure how best to remove it, but not scratched.
I am not a teenage yahoo, this is my 7th bike and have treated her well. Never been on the track or done anything stupid. I have a 600 track bike and a 1000 road bike for that.
Selling as I am leaving the country.
Test drives welcome with cash in hand. Will follow on my other bike.
