Latest news, I've got a fairing! Well, actually I've got two. The first is a little handlebar mounted job, the second will need to a frame mounted set up. Now, some grumpy old codger is likely to post that fairings are for poofters or some such eloquent verse, ahhh, but that Kickaha tosser can get stuffed!
So anyway, what do ya reckon?

I reckon you'll have to widen it quite a bit to fit behind it

fairings are for homo's, that's why D is putting his one on

OK, looks like I hit a snag. Had RX125 front end at work along with my MB100 front end. Managed to press out the MB stem, but managed to bend the RX stem, mechanic sort of said "ohh err", and buggered off and left it! He also mentioned that welding the MB stem to the RX triple clamps wasnt really going to work, would need to be set up in a jig or something and had to be a 100% true, blah blah blah....
Also the MB motor, so far havent managed to track down a better gear box, and looks like I'm going to be stuck with the standard 4 speed box.
So what are my options, wait and hope something turns up or buy another engine, then I need a better front end, so look for another rolling chassis, maybe? Suddenly, I'm looking for another complete bike!
Still, things like carbs, body work, shocks, handle bars etc can probably be used on another project.
So what do I do? What front end do other MB100 bucket racers use?
Do I try and find a more suitable rolling chassis (on 17" rims)?
Or do I look for something like a Suzuki GP100 and start again? Or look around and buy a ready to race bucket? Anyone got anything out there that I might be interested in?
    cheers
