Well fuck my fucking life, I'm an idiot of epic fucking proportions.
After these shit box CBR motors were fucking out, I decided to investigate the cunting thing's issue this time. Head and barrels back off...oops. the base gasket was upside down. They are perfectly symmetrical except for the tiny pin prick holes that sit on the old galleries. This fuck head had forgotten to make sure the 'up' label was as required.
Thankfully the cam had fuck all damage and I could just sand the aluminium off and resemble. Thing seems to run good now and after a couple heat cycles hasn't fucked out.

Standard bloody honda. Wish i had a dollar for every one I've seen with what looks like a symmetrical gasket in the wrong way.
At one point, the cam bearing cap gaskets for the CB350 twin came with the holes for the oil galleries omitted.
Saved time i suppose, they seized the top ends even with the holes done correctly....

...those CB's that seemed to be half of the CAMS club when I joined up never fucking seized when I was chasing them...if they had I would vividly remember passing them...

yeah but my brother ranga... hondas can seize blow up and compleatly shit themselves and still keep going, so ya wouldent a passed a rooted one... take my 125T droped a valve took the lid of the piston and stiil was running back in the pits... only a honda people...
