Ive narrowed my shopping list down to:
- MV Agusta Brutale or Dragster 800 are on my radar (2018-2019 models).
- Also Ducati Diavel Sport (2018-2019 models).
Just got to figure out how I’m going to address this license issue.
This whole thing doesn’t sit well with me and quite frankly someone needs to change the current rules pronto because it’s not working.
Can I hire my own private instructor for a test?
Ideal if I could map out the test run - get one of my nice scenic routes whilst passing my test.
It might not be the impression you're trying to create, but that post just screams, me me me. Is that a millenial thing? *
The whole licencing and testing system does not revolve around you. You have to comply with it, and it doesn't give a shit what you think.
* OK, I checked. It is.

But 20 km'hr slower ... Still a definite possibility in future law changes for some roads .. (already happened on some roads) .. fewer people might die. If you are regularly over the speed limit ... one of those people might be you. And it may well be ... not be in any way your fault.
Such are the basis of the deaths statistics.
And as I said in MY post ... "Unless you can suggest (and get implemented) an alternative (not to mention EFFECTIVE) course of control for the above "Problems" ... the current control measures will be taken." You didn't suggest any alternative course of action in YOUR post.
Got nothing I guess.
STILL nothing but wank speak from you then ... but until people stop believing they're invincible in (or on) any vehicle they are in completecontrol of ... NOTHING will change.
When life throws you a curve ... Lean into it ...
It's really simple ... just go into a license testing office ... make an appointment for a test on the day that suits you ... borrow a LAM's class bike to do the test on (make sure it's legal though) ... and just fucking DO IT. If you're as good as you tell us you are ... there wont be an issue.
Wait another 20 years ... things might change. BUT ... if there IS going to be changes (whenever) ... it will not be to make it easier for YOU or anybody else.
Money to burn eh... and yes you can.

Yeah, kid of a guy I know took it all too lightly. Turned up for his test in a car with an expired warrant. Failed.
Next time dad checked the car was registered and warranted, but the kid turned up for the test in bare feet. Failed.
Eventually he ran out of things to stuff up and passed. His "she'll be right" attitude will still be a problem though.

you people have fucked this thread...

(Definately Dodgy)
I turned up at my licence with no warrant.
I'd bought a GSX250 as my first legal bike, well, roadbike, 1st was an XR250 with no sidestand and I didn't fancy leaning it up against Pierce house on the footpath, no indicators mirrors or much of a muffler.
Next bike was an RD350 with the obligatory 250 stickers mocked over the originals.
Bought the humble GSX
Cop got bored of looking for the WOF and we carried on. I'd never considered the bike I'd just bought didn't have a wof. Had just done a bike course so aced the carpark test easily as was much easier. I took road sign directions badly but he couldn't fault me riding so I passed. Guess I would have failed these days.
Geez no wof under seat. Ooops.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
