ok... ya want a real serious rant, WHY THE FUCK DID BILLY JOEL HAVE TO GET IT RIGHT...

last friday i and a lot of others lost a very dear friend on her bike... this friend was also AJs partner, She is one of those people that ya just cant come to grips as to why... why the fuck her...

not looking for condolancs or rips here in fact dont post any its not personal enough... the rant is lifes not often fair but we must deal with it no mater how trivial or not.
Ya wana know how much of a dick I felt driving from home to her 2nd home just up the road every half hour knowing she was over due, my 8yr old who sheared her last meal with asking whats wrong dad... seeing the outside light on knowing ot was there for her... well I turned that light of sat morning cos on my last drive down there fri night the phone rang... I turned around and drove home...

treasure life people dont stay sour at it, look at what you do have...
    cheers DD

Prolly makes me a bully. But I just straight up start calling cunts that do, pieces of shit.

I understand the comment about timing now, AJ had a big personal loss. That sucks for him. I can't fathom why I should have known that and not tell him to stick it up his arse when he says racist jokes are ok though.

wasn't about you knowing... its about how to treat other people, you never know there circumstances, like I dont know yours.

calling some one a piece of shit, cos they called some one a black cunt ... makes you no beter than them, and im damn sure you are...

look at what you have, not what you dont... meds can be a right head fuck, I know iv been there, I still am and most likely will be for life... getting the right one is not easy infact the way they test you out on cheap shit to start with is damn right crewl... my advice for anyone on meds be it for the head or a sore toe... bitch to the quacks till you are happy, no point in being down and taking others with you.

    Paracetamol and Potassium

Well, I survived and I'm out. Normal service should be resumed in about 4 - 6 weeks.

But bloody Hospitals...Yes, I know I should be grateful, I now have four new transfer ports to go with the electronic ignition.
The attitude to paracetamol use has to be seen to be believed - given with every meal plus on demand up to a nominal ceiling of use per day.
Personally, I was lucky and didn't need much pain relief - but even with that low use I reached maximum Paracetamol - for me - where I was shaking and sweating after taking two. Given a choice I'd prefer morphine as I've found much less side affects from prolonged use.

And potassium - all cardiologists are mad alchemists who imagine that force feeding potassium will magically cure all ills. In some it may. In me and those around me, it caused much angst as it frankly ain't pleasant...

The leg's still a bit sore - probably a result of having Kickaha in the next hospital room. Stick my head round the corner and ask how he is in the morning - and get told he's already walked too bloody far before 7am....So of course I tried to compete with a guy around 30 years younger. Won't do that again.

I asked them if I had to take it and was told while I was there yes, last couple of days in ICU and first day/night on the ward I did have my little friend which would administer morphine at the press of a button, found the other shit they gave me for home worked much better in combo with the paracetamol and ibuprofen than by itself

Not much else to do while you're in there, couple of days after I came out of the coma, they had me walking around ICU hooked up to a portable unit, worst part of that was just getting out of bed

Went back to ward 10 on Thursday for a visit. My brother's there waiting for his 2nd bypass.....
Very close to full occupancy at present - certainly a lot more there than when Kick and I were in.
The bro's got a group of guys around him who are all waiting for a surgeon to come back from doing expensive private work and do them.
They were at least quite relieved to speak to someone who'd been there 6 1/2 weeks back - and survived.

I couldn't find any of the docs from the team which did me. I wanted to ask who'd sewn up my leg - and if I could have two minutes on their leg with a blunt apple corer....

This is starting to get boring....
Went back to ward 10 for a followup check. ECG and chest Xray. Fluid on the lungs and the leg's still infected - with a bloody hole you could poke yer finger in.
So they kept me there overnight. Fair enough.
Got verbally assaulted by a physio for not doing my walking - hence the fluid. Showed her the leg and got an apology of sorts....

I'm now using an exercycle which is working in that the fluid is dropping in conjunction with piss pills....But the leg is a long way from healing.
If you do the required exercise, the bloody hole is just being pulled open.....catch 22.

Plus every bastard has prescribed different antibiotics. Different one each week...now had nearly everything twice ffs.

The occasional member of the team who did me, that I see in passing while at the hospital, takes one look and shys away.....

    Bah, humbug.

Well, they rip a spare vein out of the leg to use for the grafts around the heart. This leaves a scar from just below the knee to just above the ankle.
In my case the leg became infected. The infection produces heat and fluid which has to go somewhere. It found it's way out via a hole where it burst the stitches....
Duct tape is only of so much use sadly. Luckily it's not painful. Just fucking annoying.
