Just got to figure out how I’m going to address this license issue.
This whole thing doesn’t sit well with me and quite frankly someone needs to change the current rules pronto because it’s not working.

Can I hire my own private instructor for a test?
Ideal if I could map out the test run - get one of my nice scenic routes whilst passing my test.

    Melbourne Cup Rant

    Anyone follow Melbourne Cup/the trots?

Lost a couple hundred at Melbourne Cup today.

What a result, completely out of nowhere.
Think it was paying something ridiculous like $27 on the nose.

Mrs SD and I took our Interceptors for the first ride today, all went well, they are nice and nimble and respond well despite apparently only having 47HP.

Weather was sunny and hot so we cruised down to Kaka Point, had a coffee then back home via Karora Gorge.

OK rant time - I didn't realise how easy you had to take it when running in a new bike, grrrrr, 80kmh max for the whole trip, roll on the first 500km so we can start cruising a bit faster!
