Canuk's CT110 - After Front Tire removal &install -Speedo cable not working

    okay everyone…
Have a newly acquired CT110 - We don't have a lot of these in Canada anymore - so I'm coming to where the everyday expertise lie.

I Had to replace a tube in the front tire in the course to do so had to remove the speedo cable connection on the wheel - now after the job is done and everything is together again the speedo cable is not working… It doesn't even move.
it was working fabulous before… What am I missing??

    Cheers!

The insert does not move, or the needle on the speedo does not move?

Disconnect the speedo cable from the front wheel and connect the cable center to a drill and test ... speedo dial should indicate a speed.

The cable center may not be seated correctly. Or the front wheel drive may not seated correctly.

Or the cable wasn't fitted correctly and you've fucked the cable center.

There is a drive dog inside the backing plate, you need to line it up....probably bent by now.
