    Good beer - NOT!

Hey fellow beer lovers, Here's one to avoid...

    Moa Sessionable Pale Ale

The normal Moa Pale Ale isn't too bad - that's the one with the metallic label

This one has a blue and white label

It tastes like dirt, has poor mouth feel and a watery aftertaste.

    Definately one to be avoided

I normally limit myself to Bookbinder when riding as it is a bit less strong than the others but last night had a similar strength Tuatara Iwi.

I had to have a beer afterwards.

    One word Epic.

Agree that Emersons is a nice drop.

Avoid Crafty Beggers..... one hop per 1000 litres like most Lion and DB products.

Monteiths Imperial lager is a good drop as is the Double Hopped IPA.

Missus brought home some Russian beer....they should stick to Vodka.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

++ bouncing czech. All the Boundary Road 'craft' stuff is good. They also do Holsten pilsner under licence which is nice.

Mac's sassy red is a nice reasonably-priced best bitter.

I personally can't stand anything Monteith's, I think their beer is shite and has been ever since being bought as a trophy wife by DB, who then proceeded to pull the fucking douchebag move of trademarking the name of a style of beer (Radler) and taking another brewer to court over it

Someone below recommended their IPA - I certainally dont

The way it froths up out of the bottle on opening is a bad sign

Beer is a gateway drug to harder substances like whisky and the like. This site seems to be full of drunks.
