none of the alternatives have the reach, which is frustrating. Someone told me that the guy Neil something who sold out of Mainfreight (and bought, among other things an Aston Martin ONE 11) is funding that wheedle. But last time I looked it had bugger all listings.

She has replaced Nigella Lawson in my affections. Though I wouldnt turn down a three-way.... plus you know you'd get a decent feed after.

Rachel's cookbook (the Paris one) is very good. I've cooked a bit from it. Couple of lovely lentil recipes.

Dude, you and me think the same. Rachel is such a hot piece of arse with a killer rack.

Check out the last few posts of this thread for a few pics of her from fellow KB Khoo admirers ...

    Yes, it is expensive.

It's not worth the grief and auction fees to sell some stuff, just take it to the dump instead these days.
Riding cheap crappy old bikes badly since 1987

    Isn't that an oxymoron?

Did you know that there is a herb named nigella? True story. Anyway I once saw some nigella seeds and suggested exitedly to Mrs Oakie that I could grow my own Nigella. Got the growl over that one, I did!

In the days before TradeMe, the only way to sell $1-$2 crap was to have a garage sale. That meant putting an advert in the local paper - you were out of pocket by maybe $30 before you even started. At the end of the day, most of the cheap crap would remain unsold, despite the number of the great unwashed tyre-kicking their way around your home during the day.

That option is still available. Instead though, people want someone else to host their garage sale on-line - free of charge.

Expensive? Compared to what? Take your custom elsewhere.

Can we please keep to the main topic. No, not TradeMe... No-one would start a thread about that, now would they? Moaning about sales and auction sites is so predictable - elsewhere in the world, everyone moans about eBay, but they still use it.

But, Rachel Khoo... What a great... topic.
Definitely not enough forum space devoted to her.

I sold an item on a $1 reserve waiting for the bidding frenzy so I could cash up and ditch my boring life here and move to London and live with Rachel Khoo (oooh errrr). Sold for $1.50 so that plan went down the lav.

but a $0.50c "Success" fee meant that I had paid more than 30% to tardme.... plus the listing fee and fees for extra photos.

I did selll something I was going to chuck in the dumpster for $50 though so there's that.

    Such a lottery.
