I think El Rotundo was just hinting at the fact that things have become so....Um unusual for the want of a better word,That clubmans could become a national class,All tongue in cheek stuff.

But heres tricky one for you,I was informed by 1 particular organiser during preparations for NZSBK,That we HAD to have clubmans so anybody who doesn't qualify for their class can still have a race,Sooooo,If you don't qualify for the sidecar races,Can you still run in clubmans ??????

A protest may only be made by a competitor who has competed in a race or competition from which the protest ensues, or that rider’s representative
where the rider making the protest is incapacitated by reason of injury.

Did a Friday test day between SI and NI Nationals with heaps of solos, taking them under brakes and going around the outside of them, dunno about them but I was having lots of fun

Jesus did someone really let solos and chairs out at the same time??? Even on a practice or test day that is far from a good idea.

is it? what's the difference between that and a test day without any yellows; fuck all it's up to the people on the track to have it in their minds what's going on.

Presents no more danger than any other bike on the track I reckon.

At open test days we have always gone out with bikes, although if there are heaps of bikes and not many cars then sometimes we go out with the cars.

We'll you've got a lot to learn then. The main issue is that if you're a sidecar racer you'll have a fair idea of how the other sidecars on the track do things, which are quite different to solos, that's part of your trade, and if you a Solo rider; ditto. Whereas if you're only use to Solos and suddenly you're out on the track with Chairs you don't really have that knowledge up your sleeve so there is an inherent risk that people need to be aware of.

there's a similar risk with classic and modern sidecars being on the track at the same time as they can be worlds apart too.

That actually reinforces Drews point.... Road Riders tend to be as equally unpredictable on the track..... As with bikes from different classes.....

Early braking and road lines tend not to be what racers do....

Also a Superbike wouldn't take a corner the same as a 125Gp, and yet their lap times could be within 15% of each other.....

I guess the lesson is give someone or something you don't know plenty of room on a test day.
