Bikes and chairs on track together I think is fins as both parties know that people can end up lying on the track in an incident to reaction is kinda normal, but not cars and bikes and chairs in my opinion as this is not the norm for the car driver and may just miss some one out there on the track if shit went down

My question is then: So what? You too slow, off you go.

Zachary ........ work it out on whatever track you're familiar with, take your own laptime and add 15% to it - that's a long way back isn't it , especially after 8-10 laps.

Before we brought this in, wasn't uncommon to see guys getting lapped after 4 laps in 250 proddy for example. To be fair, the more often they got passed, the more these guys learned, and the faster they ended up riding by the end of the meeting

I have no problem with it. Was merely pointing it out. Can't think of a race I've watched recently where 3rd was 3% slower than first, so working on 15% of 3rd means more people go home early.

Bring back bracket racing and be fucken done with it! At least, at club level.

I think you are right, about National level racing at the moment anyway, there does not seem to be many if any (there must be a song in that) riders in most classes who do not qualify.
With the increases in numbers generally across the board in 2014 anyway, this would on the face of it seem to be a good thing.

Bracket racing? There are of course pro's and con's both ways and it was quite problematic when we had more GP style bikes out among Proddy style bikes. But that is less and less the case nowadays with the exception of 125GP bikes. So, heaven forbid I say this, but perhaps there is a case to revisit this concept.

I personally have raced Bracket classes at two different clubs (Tauranga Club at Baypark in effectively an F3 class with NSR250) and at Manfeild Suzuki Series (Gibbes) (in effectively an F2 class with RS250). In neither case did I feel there was any problem at any time, but maybe that is just 'cos I am super flash??

115% of third means 3rd place laps that rider every 6 laps.... I don't think we had a single class that this happened to at Nationals?
    Could be wrong.

As for club level, no real excuse at all.... Okay, some Development riders might struggle, but that is why they are there... To learn, or just have some fun.

Personally I thought 115% of leader was the way to go. That way in a 12 lap race the slow riders would only go 1 lap down and not 2.
Of course it is relying on all laps being within a second of each other. IE consistent.

Riders entering a Nationals Class would all be capable ( barring incidents ) of consistently reeling off laps within a second of the last, surely

    I would certainly hope so.....
I would say closer to 1/2 to 1/3 of a second in reality.

The podium place winners maybe. Certainly not the majority of the field. Christ, supersport can be all over the place like a mad woman's shit when a group of riders all think they should be leading said group.
