I know how you feel.
I felt it neccesary a couple of weeks ago to place my very first ever bad feedback after being with trademe since 1991.
On this auction, if you are interested.
Still - four years, 175 trades. I'm still ahead.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

So if we all sent him copies of large binary files it could be a case of "Someone else did it, so it's not my fault"?
hmmmm... LOL
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details
Don't back down on the jacket size issue. When i buy/sell with someone i check out their feedback but when you have got 170 good ones that fine with me.Don't let low lifes get to you.
Aye,
there are some strange people out there on trademe allright. When we purchased the Bandit through Trademe, a phantom bidder popped out of nowhere with a HUGE autobid. They did this on two other auctions at the same time. Farking scumbag! No intention of completing the purchase. Luckily, the seller was really good, and we still got the Bandit by being the highest legitimate bidders! Hurrah!
I ALWAYS read the feedbeck of people I trade with. Can tell if a negative feedback is justified usually - pays to read the responses too if any...I won't trade with even slightly dodgy traders...
I've traded on there for a few years now, only have (36) feedback but they're all positive and I value each and every one of them as my reputation - which it is. Sorry to hear you're having a bad time of it, I figure you would have done well to refund the jacket though...thankfully I havn't had any bad experiences whatsoever, but my family & friends have and they feel the same way as you!Originally Posted by kerryg

The only people who can change this are TradeMe, but without litigation it is too difficult for them (and expensive, time consuming) to make the judgment call a lot of times, so the rules are the way they currently are I guess. The only thing you can do is voice an opinion to them through a letter/email and hope they hear your case and bend or change the current feedback policy. It would certainly be great if they, like our KB admins/mods, made specific changes/deletions for individual members when requested nicely.![]()
You've been on TM for ages Simon, wasn't aware it was that old!Originally Posted by riffer
