    HELP! Kapiti/Horowhenua/Manawatu weather report please!

    Hi kids,

So you know I'm leaving? Well, I've got a car load of stuff I DESPERATELY need to get from Porirua to Palmerston North today. It's currently in teh car. Only problem is:

The car has no windscreen wipers.

The motor for them broke about a week ago, and since I rarely use the car these days, and have no intention of getting it fixed to get it's WOF (yes, it's unWOF'd too) before I go...

...what's the weather like up Kapiti/Otaki/Levin/Shannon/Opiki way.

    Nomes
P.S. Worst come to worst, a workmate has offered me her (smaller) car to use...

    Cool

Mate if all else fails do what we all did years ago......

Put your hand out the window and manually use the wipers..
You know, your arm moving the wipers up and down....
well it worked for us back oh when was it now.. you know the dark ages... (60's and 70's)

The weather is loverly up here in Auckland... not a speck of rain.
So just go for it take a chance.....

Looks fairly good here. No sign of rain that I can see.

Thanks a heap guys. It looks much clearer now than it did a wee while ago.

The weather is nice here in Levin at present, but drizzle is forecast for later tonight. If the worst comes to the worst, you can drop the stuff off at our place - I have to go to PN on Friday morning and could drop it off for you. Or, if you can afford a few bucks for petrol (dead broke right now!), come here and we can take it up in our car as the wipers work!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
