    07 Ninja 250 (Dunedin)

Great learner bike. I had a Scorpio before this and while the Scorpio was nice around town, this is much better for wind protection and the open road.

Riding position is fairly upright, see cycle-ergo.com for reference. I am 6ft 3in and I am comfy, but would suit shorties too.

WOF until May 2015 (gets 12 month WOFs)
    Reg until mid July 2014

@ 3200km: Serviced, 15 tooth front sprocket fitted and new tyres (Dunlop GT501). I bought these tyres based on comments/reviews of the tyres on this model of bike here and here) and have found them awesome. Since the above review was written the front now comes in 100-90-16 so no mods required to the front fender.
    @ 7200km: new chain
@ 12400km: WOF passed, 'some play in top shock bush' noted on sheet
@ 13000km ish - oil and filter change, air filter serviced, general check over and lubing bits and bobs by dealer
Shop worksheets / receipts will be provided for all the above.

The tyres are +1 profile which means the speedo is more accurate. An indicated 65mph = 100kph
The front sprocket is +1 tooth. At 100kmh, revs are @7000. With the stock sprocket/tyres this was more like 8000 rpm. It's quite short geared so acceleration is pretty much unaffected.

Various scrapes and such on assorted parts of the bike.
    Minor tear in seat.
Minor crack in the l/h fairing. I have drilled a hole in the end of the crack to stop it spreading and put some tape on. I never bothered to fix it cos, well, it's a learner bike.
There's also some sort of stain on the windshield that won't come off.
Some fading of the plastic around the gauges due to the use of the wrong sort of cleaner.
Top shock bush I never found a problem with, obviously wasn't bad enough to fail the WOF.

I've not dropped it in my time of ownership.

Selling due to getting my full.

    Power, 36hp at 11,000 rpm
    Torque, 2.5 kg-m at 10,000 rpm
Weight, 138 kg dry / 161 kg curb

Other than that and needing some more rego soon, it's good to go.

Located in Mosgiel, Dunedin. Test rides welcome with your licence sighted and the asking price in hand. May be able to assist with delivery.

Swap you a goat, only slightly used. Great at mowing lawns, which will allow you more time for riding. House trained, and not skittish around groups of drunken males. Bondage straps and undies will only come with goat if bike has gas in it.

You could feed it whatever you like, if you take it.
