Dude races a Kawi zx10 in the Swann Insurance SB championships with a best finish so far of 2nd place in very good company.
The shock about this is, he does it using an original shock the bike comes with but modified for race use and his bike sure handles awesome and the shock work only costs $800-00 NZ $- now the results prove how good this set up must be.
Would be fantastic to have Mike out here racing his Kawi ZX10 in our champs, he is fast and a really nice humble guy.
I am having his tuner build me a shock to test for some fun and a set of forks using Ohlin;s 30mm kit purchased from the USA due to realistic costing of the product off shore.
I will write a wee report in a month or so after my operations when I get back on track with all the metal work removed from my legs. That will be very cool riding a bike fast again and not having to worry about damaging myself more if I crashed due to the metal work in my legs still.
