Anyone looking for short term rental in Christchurch?

Have a one bedroom flat available until EQC repairs start on 30 June, not too bothered if it sits empty for a few weeks, but if someone is homeless it would be better than a tent. Only waiting on cosmetic repairs so perfectly liveable, previous tenants started looking when the EQC chaps scoped the repairs and found somewhere quicker than they expected.

probably would have taken you up on it except we have just moved back to ours after EQ repairs. We ended up in a motel for three weeks. Good luck with it though

Well if insurance is paying and someone else is doing the cleaning motel sounds like a good option, sadly a lot of tenants are left to their own devices for earthquake repairs.

Well here we are again, what was supposedly a definite start date of 30 June has been and gone, and still nothing from EQR to get things underway.

Seems the exterior work can't be done until November so on that basis there is a flat available until about then if anyone is looking.

Not looking good for EQC's rather optimistic aim of having all outstanding repairs completed by Xmas...........
