You wouldn't get anywhere near the bikes top speed on that track Velox. The thous were hitting 250, I was hitting 220, and they ain't anywhere near the top speed of the bikes.

I'd be interested to hear what MD would be hitting on his 636, given that it's 20hp up on me and his testicles appear both more skilled and larger. No pun intended.

ÁNSWER: My testicles were hitting the tank on the 636. Ha ha. Ok, they weren't its a bloody comfy bike at any speed. Thanks for the compliment. Not sure what I was seeing Madboy. It felt like my speeds were improving each session as I really started to enjoy the bike. I had new diablos on which I prefer so that feeling of confidence helps. I know in the first session I was seeing 216/217kph as I went for the brakes at the end of the front straight so I worked on getting that up each lap and by second session made sure 220 showed a sec or two before backing off. I was getting really good drive out of Higgins so the longer back straight should have been well up there but that's not the spot to watch the speedo sorry.
Sure some of the thous had the longer legs over the 636 but shit a brick it keeps them honest.
What a day hey. Tried to say hello and meet as many KBer as poss but it was so full on. Knackered when I got home.
ps- the Diablos survived the day better than those BT014s last time.

Yeah, that back tyre of yours was looking a bit worse for wear after the last trackday.
Re: speeds - I had the advantage of a camera strapped to my tank so I got to watch my speedo from the safety of my lounge. I find it's far less stressful and likely to keep me alive longer.
