If previous years are to go by I think the Hare analogy is closer. I sprint off stopping a while later for a rest.

Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.

Well thats the 2014 Battle of the Buckets done and dusted.
A great turnout for the Premier event with plenty of supporting classes for other Cams members.
The Cams club run a pretty slick affair, that has the classes rolling out with the minimum fuss.
There was a sea of buckets on the grid for the Inaugral F4 cup, a blingy new trophy was up for grabs and was hard fought over , only to be taken away by F4 Dave from Wellington.
12 oclock and time for the big race, what can I say its big and long, takes no prisoners and preys on the weak (crankshafts), there was little doubt from the get go who was in charge Lewis Dray pretty much ledthe whole race fron the front, followed by Hank Randle and Mr Bucketracer .A few retirements took out a couple of leaders. Eventually and not before time the race finished and we struggled on to a few additional races.
Prizegiving was held in the new facility provided by the Cams club, a few Beers from Harringtons Brewery, then home to suffer a few aches and pains, cant wait to do it over next year.
Thanks to The Cams club for hosting our event, the out of town riders who made the comittment to attend, st Johns who had nothing to do all day, Harringtons Brewery.
