It would seem that nobody has, or at the very least nobody is willing to say they have, or they aren't on here.
The latter is HIGHLY unlikely, but possible I suppose.....
If no one has applied or if no one is going I think that is a real shame and an opportunity missed.

    Yip,

Well the blame for this opportunity going begging AND the opportunity I offered earlier in the ASC series, Lies squarely at the feet of the board and admin at MNZ, As stated earlier there is $20,000 funding available from Oceania EVERY year specifically for junior training that has not been taken up to date, The only real junior induction and development is undertaken by MCI under their own initiative, Until the board stop sitting on their hands and doing NOTHING in regard to junior development, It will remain the same, The last 2 commissioners have tried to get something organised and been turned down by the board, The ONLY attempt was by an onroad board member trying to have the money used to bring over an Aussie 125 rider to coach 125 riders ONLY, How is that going to help with induction and training for the younger generation FFS

The application for Tyler is done and sent, came up #478 so I guess that is how many have applied worldwide, unless its random numbers. Those Honda Underbone scooter things look weird to try and ride fast but thats whats they do the testing on.

If Tyler makes it to the selection/trials I will have to some $

It says you are notified 10 days before you have to be at Sepang

Thats cool Jase. I hope Tyler gets a shot.

Maybe get in contact with MNZ and ask them to put some of the 20k aside for if Tyler gets the call up.

    Dear Tyler Lincoln,

Thank you very much for your inscription for the Selection process of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup.

Due to the high number of applications received, not all applicants have been invited to participate in the Selection.

Unfortunately we would like to inform you that you have not been selected to participate in the 2014 Selection of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup.

We do encourage you to pursue your motorcycling career and wish you all the best.

    Best regards.
