Good on the father, he probably used a lot of restraint not killing the motherfucker........and good on the Police chief, he deserves a medal too. I know if I actually walked in and found an 18 year old sexually molesting my 12 year old, I'd rip his fucken head off there and then

Don't blame the guy at all, but he needs to be careful getting the police involved at that stage. It could backfire on him badly.

Self defense and defense of family, no problems. A friend of mine came home to find his wife being raped, 2 guys, one with shotgun and one with a pistol forced in her mouth. He was not armed but as they turned to attack him (close range) he killed them both. Justice
