Honda Hornet Fuel Tank

Hey guys, I think I have this posted in the right place - but anyway I am after a new tank or some sound advice on what to do with a tank that has a leak.
Its happened before, had it fixed, and coated internally, but there has been some internal rust on the tank and small bubbles formed under the paint which has finally effectively burst on my 96 honda hornet 250. So yeah, Anyone got a tank to sell? Know how to get this fixed? where to go? advice?
cheers. I'm stuck on 4 wheels again and it's not ideal at all.

if you cant find anything locally i may have a friend in wales that could send one over black??

Where exactly is it leaking?Chances are you could blow it out with a water blaster to reveal all then solder it up as i did with an old TL1000 tank.

theres a few in the uk
some wont send worldwide ,
but i have a friend who would resend it , hes currently moving house so may be a week or two

Last time it was along the very edge, this time its about 3 cm up, about halfway below the dent you can see in the attached pic. I am hoping this is a possibility and that its not a riddled tank

Cheers! I've been scouting Ebay and Trademe but nothing solid is coming up, don't really want a busted up tank; going from one issue to another. I've sent a few emails off to a few places tonight, fingers crossed otherwise that could always be an option.

How do I go about getting this fixed and for around what price? Surely someone has had to deal with this before?

I've just started a thread about sealing a tank that hasn't rusted through. A different situation, but the end requirement is the same.

For sealants, POR-15 has been recommended to me, but you can get Permatex from SCA.

If you're not keen on doing it yourself, or if the job is bigger than a couple of pin prick holes, it may be worth trying somewhere that repairs radiators. According to Google, Auto Radiators do fuel tank repairs. There will be others.
