Been there done that im afraid. Was in intensive care for 5 days with tube in my back draining outer lung area on left side. Both lungs chokka full fluids and I was still out in the bush hunting feeling a bit unwell. Got back to chch and couldnt breath. Dont you worry cause those fellas at the hospital no what theyre doing. Shell be fine and fit again in no time.

I saw this briefly on facebook Paul, but couldn't find the full story from my phone.

Really sorry to hear of Vicki's health right now and know how exhausted and worried you will be. Positive thoughts her way for a speedy recovery, and with you for being her strength by her side. Looking forward to hearing a positive update soon.

Another bloody tough day for Vicki... Managed to get a tiny bit of food into her and some juice but not much else.

Oxygen levels still pretty dreadful but the other numbers are looking better (marginally) and the doctor looked a bit happier today...

Shes still fighting it but its starting to take it out of her now and its hard yards... I'm hoping it wont be much longer now as I don't know how much is left in her tank.. Shes pretty damn tough.

Everyones been very kind and that makes a big difference - I read her all the messages and stuff.. Not sure how much she hears but hey... Left just before 7pm as she fell asleep (finally)..

    Dark days...
