    Katana batteries

Needed a new battery today. Century in Onehunga don't do cash sales any more but they suggested Repco, who had a "Katana" battery. I looked in the box and it's clearly from the Yuasa factory - even the tape over the holes is the same.

I paid $127 for a YT12B-BS but if you go online they are even cheaper. Supercheap have a limited selection mostly for $89.

My guess is they are a rebranded Yuasa to compete at the "cheaper" end of the market. Anyone know more?

It won't last, Katana batteries are for Suzukis not Kawasakis

It needs a special (custom made) adapter bolt on the positive terminal to make it work on Kawasaki's ...

I have a spare one here (new) he could have. $22.95 (plus postage)
