Tell us the politicians you like/dislike

May go nowhere but for yucks 'n stuff, with an election looming, what politicians do you like and who would you cross the street to avoid.

    My picks

National: no confidence in Murray McCully, Maurice Wiliamson, or Gerry Brownlee. Dislike Nick Smith but he is capable. The rest of National - do like Chris Finlayson, Judith Collins and Bill English, the rest are good enough or below the radar.

Labour: dislike Silent T and don't respect him. Dislike Mallard too but he's genuine and effective.
I do like David Shearer, Grant Robertson, Chris Hipkins, Jacinda Adern, and Damien O'Connor. Weirdly more Labour MPs spring to mind than other parties.

Green: don't actively dislike any of them. But Russel Norman, Metiria Turei, and Gareth Hughes are so negative, never coming up with actual plans, that they are annoying. I do like Kevin Hague.

    ACT: fuggedabodit

    NZ First: Nope. Nuthin.

Internet Mana: respect Laila Harre. Can't stand John Minto even if he's been consistent through decades.

There are others but thats enough.

This. Have lost faith. No matter what they say before being voted in they never follow through and each government fucks up more than they ever fix it seems.

What's not to like? False teeth might be an enhancement but that's true for any woman, innit?

John Banks I disliked intensly but he's gone now so all good.
    Russel Norman is a whiner
Winston Peters blusters all the time. He is a very good orator which I find dangerous as people will believe the shit he spouts because he packages it strongly. (Adolf Hitler was also very good in that way).
Cunliffe gives me the same impression that Banks did ... says the words appropriate for the moment but I don't think he's earnest. (eg, his recent apology for being a man)

I'm pretty neutral about the rest of them. I think most do get into politics for the rights reasons and they work very hard so I don't like to criticise them personally.

Oooh, I can feel those internet flames coming...

For her tireless efforts regarding animal welfare issues and disability issues (along with the fact that she has her own disability to deal with in the process of doing her job) I have a great degree of respect for Mojo Mathers.

Respect John Key , Steven Joyce, Crusher, Paula Bennett, Tim Groser, Shaples, Tariana Turia [ never thought I would say that a few years ago ] Annette King , Damien O'connor, Kelvin Davis, Clayton Cosgrove, David Shearer [ just too nice to win ]

    Disrepect Willamson , Cunnliffe , Mallard , Dunne , Mahuta / Russell ,

Contempt Winston , Hone , Harre since she teamed up with the fat foreigner , I figured she had some integrity , I already knew Hone was bereft of any such thing.
