Still pisses me off that the SIS have not taken him out in an unfortunate accident. Everyone would believe it if he was found dead having wedged his arse into a chair then stumbled around the second story trying to release the chair only to flip over the balcony.

    My talents are wasted.
Hehehe, yep it would make a feckin great chrissy present to the country. Don't reckon John will send flowers though eh, just a waste of taxpayer dollars and good flowers.

And yep you're right, your talents are soooo wasted, however I've made a note to be sure not to pizz you off though eh, lol

nothing really. "old white cunts" ≂ "jews", but the focus being on stupid political agendas rather than raping everyone for cash.

just a question, for all you haters out there, what harm has he actually done?

Well he was right in the end and so was Key but that's political playing with words again.

Key said GSCB not spying on NZers...true And we don't have a tap on the pacific internet cable.... true

But also true is we have an NSA outpost here at the exchange and of course we have an information sharing agreement with them. Its a bit like a Gang having someone beaten up by their prospects or associates. Technically the gang didn't do the crime but the job gets done. And that's exactly what happens here.

So to think that the govt wouldn't use/access that is not believeable.

And the email, don't think dotcom would be fooled by a fake one, the guy is in the IT business after all.

Govts have spied on their people for generations, we all know that and it doesn't bother me. But they are having to keep this mass surveillance concealed otherwise public will want to know why cant organised crime be stopped or peoples stolen property found. Think about it, wouldn't take much of a decent program to analyse list of stolen goods vs online auctions and ip addresses to start picking up patterns. Same with cellphone movements whose data is recorded and analysed by the telcos to see where to build extra towers etc. Once you pump in a few junkies numbers you could soon extrapolate interactions and map out every tinnie house in the country. And even single use burner phones would get picked up by right analysis.
But if we solve real crime the next on the list is the reckless waste of taxpayer money...

I was amused by the choice of Bruce Fergusson, by the media, as an independent commentator.

His references to Edward Snowden and Julian Assange as 'traitors' show him to still be a good old governmental puppet.

He probably considers any New Zealander who considers the spying allegations as credible to be a 'traitor'.

    interesting read

    http://www.spiegel.de/international/...-a-991503.html

Treasure Map is anything but harmless entertainment. Rather, it is the mandate for a massive raid on the digital world. It aims to map the Internet, and not just the large traffic channels, such as telecommunications cables. It also seeks to identify the devices across which our data flows, so-called routers.
Furthermore, every single end device that is connected to the Internet somewhere in the world -- every smartphone, tablet and computer -- is to be made visible. Such a map doesn't just reveal one treasure. There are millions of them.
Treasure Map allows for the creation of an "interactive map of the global Internet" in "near real-time," the document notes. Employees of the so-called "FiveEyes" intelligence agencies from Great Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, which cooperate closely with the American agency NSA, can install and use the program on their own computers. One can imagine it as a kind of Google Earth for global data traffic, a bird's eye view of the planet's digital arteries.

Sweet jesus... You mean the govt has methods of listening in? Gasp....

FFS - the govt, google, FB, microsoft you name it are ALL interested in what you say and do every day. ALL of them have the ability to weasel there way into your life and if interested will know way more about you than you might be comfortable about...

Nothing has ever been really 'private' since man invented language and at every great leap forward from mail to radio to the telephone a man in a dark suit has been closely following along behind with a keen interest... How is this news....

The funny thing about this is the KDC is using hacked and stolen info to 'prove' it. Hes just as bad as they are and is answerable to no one. Freedom is entirely relative and I sure wouldnt want KDC's version of freedom thanks...
