    Robat crew chief Peter Benson

No insight in the first guy he's just another Dorna lapdog.
Benson however is a much underrated crew chief and much admired for telling Honda to get fucked.

moto2 painfully delayed time to put the kettle on.

And that is worth admiring bro but Dorna lapdog is not an insult,it's a job description.

    Just a random question...

Roughy how many TZ250 (>1990) made it to NZ?
I'm trying to dig out a little bit more history to the one now sitting in my shed.
Apparently it was one of two that arrived around the time Bruce Anstey was campaigning....
    Around your period.

By 1990 I assume you mean the reverse cylinder models, If so John Reid purchased the U model originally ordered by the Chow for Tony Maxwell to ride, Mike Webb had a "W" from memory and Stephen Briggs had an "A", To the best of my knowledge those were the only ones running at the time, Although in later years many more were imported, Al Wilton (Malcy 25)may know of others, I remember Stroudy brought one back from Japan, But don't remember what it was or even which year, I just remember him being on a TZ at Ruapuna one year

Yip, "B" model was the first of the V twins, Bruce Anstey had one, Although not in 1990 as did Mike Webb but I don't remember any being direct imports through the distributor, Just about everyman and his dog has had one since, Good luck finding out where your one came from.
