7 years and I am still uneven, ACC

Who the fek is responsible for this and YES I will be kicking up a major storm about it with ACC.

I have known for a long time ( So Yes I am a moron) That my left leg is 11mm shorter than my right leg, my gp, surgeons, physio people, Acc case managers all knew, and no one reffered me to get inserts made to be semy normall ( Me haha) I had not thought about inserts, I had just focused and learned how to compensate as much as poss and was proud of that achievement. Acc even had me in gyms on running machines 12-18 months after my crash like this.

I have been refered to surgeons over the last 8 months, and all of them refused to operate as they believed they could either fix me permanently of leave me in a wheel chair for ever, FUCKIN WANKERS, all that has been needed for the last 7 years is for me to walk with a correct posture which would have eliminated all the pain I have lived with for these years and all the dam bullshit pain killer drugs I have had to live on, and not to mention the major job lost opportunities I have found myself due to the limp walk I had, the pain level and lifting restrictions on my body.

I have been back on ACC since November last year after a hard 12 months of oil rig work which blew my back out big time, massive hours worked and now we know why FFS. I was to be doing off shore mechanic work until my back blew out due to this, so man Have I lost a shit load of money, and the POOR COUNTRY has lost a fortune also due to what I see as piss poor management by ACC

If your talking about shoe raisers then Col's Cobble shop is your man. After my girls crash he does all her shoes for a 14mm difference. Good guy and cheap.

We were told ACC are only interested for a 15mm or greater difference.

Couldn't you get Robert Taylor to make you some kind of fancy ( hidden ) Ohlins type modifications to one of your shoes?

Not sure if you are saying nobody told you it (the shoes) was an option (which doesn't seem likely) or that no one babied you though it. If no one told you and you never heard about it, that sucks, if you were expecting them to cross your t's and dot your i's for you, that was a bit silly...

My dad had that problem years ago. He went and bought his own boots to sort it out. Problem solved.

I am sure that ACC case managers are regular readers of Kiwi Biker forums, and even have a cheat sheet so they know the real names of members. Well, if they don't, I'm sure they could borrow a copy from the GCSB.

A more efficient means of whingeing could be to make direct contact with ACC, but I guess I'm a bit old-fashioned on those sort of things.

Going by your posts recently, the arrogance, and the "Me I Me Me Me I Me Me" attitude, I would say the above has sweet fark all to do with why you are unemployable.

    You really are a muppet..

I don't have any personal issues with you Shaun, irrespective of whether or not I'm wearing my Moderator's hat.

My earlier point was that I believe that if people have issues with ACC or any other government organisation, they are best to seek resolution with that organisation, rather than making oblique attacks in other unrelated places.

If that doesn't work, you could always make an appointment with your local member of Parliament and see if they can ask some questions on your behalf.

    Good luck.
