Go and ask the people that are in the job what why and when and see what they have to say rather than bang it all round here for the same culprits to come out and feed on.
MNZ had their conference here in wellington a few weeks ago, how many local road race licence holders were there to at least observe, if not particapate in the discussions of the future of their sport and past time, i'd hazard a guess at maybe one (in an observer capacity other than those who were club representatives)
I'm no hero but I have an interest in the betterment of the whole game and I trundled along and my word was listened too even though i haven't had an MNZ licence for 15 or so years.
Bleat to the right people and if you get nowhere with them then at least you have some sort of right to air your views further otherwise go away I say.
    Tick Tock, Tick Tock.....

Have they refused you a licence or membership? As there is a difference. Remember you don't need to have a race licence to be a member of MNZ, with full voting rights.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Instead I would suggest we hold an open forum....on the forums....I don't think this whole 'mutiny' is something that can be done quickly, nor in one session. I think it needs to go through an iterative process of discussion and finalisation.

My suggestion, feel free to expand, discuss or outright disagree:

    Step 1)
    New Thread, rules:
    • One post per person answering a few basic broad questions like: what's wrong? why is it wrong? what do you think can be done to fix it?
    • Edit your one post to refine or update your answer.
    • After 3 (or some number) weeks the common problems and their potential solutions will be collated.

    Step 2)
New Thread/Poll, first post contains the issues, how we think they can be solved. Written in formal language.
3 weeks to vote whether you agree or not (can change vote) after Three (??) weeks, if over 60% (60% more/less?) of the votes are in agreement then those 60% send off the email as it is written in the first post. The remaining % send whatever they want.

6 weeks from today puts us at the 19th of September. Still time to sort shit out?
Having done a few of these sorts of things online before I'd suggest the way to go about it is
    • define the target, eg is it going to be something presented to the AGM or before MNZ elections or will it be something emailed by everyone to MNZ or something else?
    • defining the target also helps sort out a time line
    • figure out a team of people that are going to do the collating, if anyone is needed to present stuff, writing it up in formal language, proofing etc
    • after that, a forum can be established here on KB specifically for discussion

Once things are written up it can go back to everyone for any amendments and to be voted on, then after that presented/emailed/whatever.
Zen wisdom: No matter what happens, somebody will find a way to take it too seriously. - obviously had KB in mind when he came up with that gem

Billy, I think your direction might be appreciated here.

I think that the target varies a bit based on the outcome of what it is we're unhappy about. And to a certain extent our proposed solution.

Your forehead must have been fairly bloodied after your MNZ stint Billy. Suggestions from people to complain don't understand that the particular board "members" (which is another name for board penises) probably wont do jack shit as they obviously are ignored when the commissioner cant even get things rolling. All I want is the MNZ board to follow their own goddamned rules.

    Yip,

I'll flick you an email with ALL the details over the next couple of days, Motorcycling is not something I want too spend a whole lot of time at the moment, A special general meeting as suggested by the chow would be the best direction for a quick outcome, However I don't like your chances of achieving that, Better to just work on the more important stuff like the Judiciary and stewarding/ Officials commissioner to try and get that sorted before the championship series gets too far along.

I cannot even get a reply from Jim Tuckerman nor the office any longer, good luck to any one else out there, the whole show is off the rails and not being managed professionally at all. And NO, that is not bringing the sport into disrepute, it is simple FACT!

That is an incorrect statement Herr Billington - FACT
