Side note question

I am bidding on a bike I would like for a café racer project.
Been leading for a while (only bidder).
Now a new tardme member with zero feedback and been member for less than a month bids.

Bid push or just someone wanting same bike? Bidder is Greymouth and bike is Kapiti. would someone in Greymouth really shop that distance for a low value bike? I find zero feedback people tend to put me off a bit.

Yes they would. Kapiti is probably easier than ChCh as you don't have to come over the passes in winter....Bear in mind everything on the coast has to come in and there is no really easy way.

Tardme auctions extend to 2 mins when a bid is added near the end so only way to sneak in is if the other bidder is offline or doesn't refresh his screen in the last 2 mins.

Ah ok I haven´t bought anything off a trade me auction in a long time. Automatic Sniping on Ebay has got out of control - I just look at Ebay as a blind bid system now put in the highest price your willing to pay and not a cent more. I lost out on a crankshaft and conrod set a few months ago - was watching the auction refreshing the screen and at the last nanosecond a computer outbid me. I would have gone up much higher so the seller lost out as well. You won fair and square so its his problem if he couldn´t be bothered to stay awake.
