Now my question is after valves are set does it matter in which order you do balancing and mixer screws ????????.

oh I have vacuum gauges for balancing upto four carb motorbikes and carbs were stripped and clean a few months ago , I balanced carbs and then did mixer screw settings but really wanted to know which way around , mixers then syn or is it syn then mixers . if it makes a difference or not ?
    hope I worded that right.
    cheers

Carb balance, (including idle mixture set) should be one of the last adjustments.
Engine needs to be at operating temperature also.
Valve clearance set on cold engine.
    Edit,

    Reread your post.
Accurate mixture setting is challenging without specialised equipment like sniffers etc.
A general rule of thumb is slightly increase richness, until idle roughens, then ease it back to a smoother idle.
This is a general guide only.
Balancing should be done before the mixtures, but note any change in the balance.
This could be a sign of underlying issues like valve leak etc

yes put to much together in first post hmmm an age thing . I did valve clearances first (cold engine) and after other work ran bike for about five minutes before doing syn and then did idle rpm drop with mixer screws. I find doing the job is easier than writing down what or how I,ve done it .
By what yourve said I got it mainly right .
    Thanks for info .
    cheers
