    Firemen remove suspicious substance
    09.09.05

    A firefighter wearing a chemical suit and breathing apparatus removes a suspicious substance from a letterbox in Parnell, Auckland, yesterday.

    Police and firemen were called to the address after a resident discovered the substance in her letterbox.

    A Fire Service spokesman said the Birdwood Cres resident reported finding two to three tablespoons of a "creamy white substance".
