    Stock BMW clutch might be slipping?
    Good for about 70 HP apparently...does the 800 bang out that?

    ...I'll bring crayons and paper...I wanted to bring my felt pens but my sponsor says that, as she wont be with me for a whole night on Friday and that she couldn't trust me, I have to leave them at home...

    You have a sponsor? I just hope to hell my wrist is ok after the handpiece locked up on me todaywrist bloodt sore so heres hopeing I don't wake up with a ballon impression going on.

    pre 81 and post 81 gearboxes are not interchangeable without some mods. Mainly to do with the clutch.

    Fortunately for gordie I tore the front right off my solo while binning it at Taupo a few weeks back, so wether it has a gearbox or not is irrelevant at the mo.
    Also fortunately for him it was running a '83 gearbox.

    That just reminded me I also have a post 81 gearbox under the table in the garage so I wouldn't even have to take it out of the bike

    Final Rider Instructions

    Hi all,
    6 sleeps to go
    135 entries 200+ bikes its going to be a great weekend.
    The pits are going to be full, if your camping please use the minimum amount of space.
    If you don't need your vehicle/trailer in your pit, park it in the Northern carpark past the pits.

    Final rider info attached below.

    Any queries use the cell phone numbers on the info sheet.

    yes you can get Avgas at the airport, details on the last newsletter posted in this thread.... ph numbers etc up til 4.30pm tomorrow I think





    Weather forecast looking better all the time. dont forget your red light just tin case
