    Honda CBR250R (MC19)

    1988 Honda CBR250R (mc19)

    35000kms

Fantastic learner bike, with 45hp but power isn't till above 8-10k rpm so its quite nice for the unconfident to putt around until you feel more confident to ring it out.

Just had the front forks fully rebuilt.

    Full oil and filter service.

New fuel pump (achilles heel of these bikes) at 30kms.

    Full radiator flush at 30kms.

Rides great. Owned for around 3 years or so. Was my first bike. Fantastic learner bike.

    Aftermarket adjustable shorty levers.

Done 2x track days at manfield on it and it was a blast.

Not perfect cosmetically but a sound runner.

Located in Foxton but will be available to view at Levin Motorcycles in the near future.

$1800 ONO No wof and reg on hold.

Pm me on here or maybe best to email me at sean_clarke@hotmail.co.nz

This is a nice change - a sensibly priced 250 sports bike.

Cosmetically it's not amazing, and being a learner bike chances are no one can afford 4k for a first bike, which they will likely drop.

I think im being realistic on pricing.

    Cheers.

    (unless you are being sarcastic)

LOL not sarcasm, there just seems to have been a large number of $3k+ (listed) bikes of similar calibre to yours. Good luck with the sale.

Oh sweet as. Yeah LAMS bikes killed the old 'quick 250s' value.

    Cheers mate.

So you spent 10 grand on a bike that is slower than the IL4 250s

I had trouble finding the fastest 25 year old bike with a million km's on the clock for over 6 grand. Guess I'll just have to ride slowly

You're the idiot... 10 grand isn't the TCO... never has been, never will be... how do you think all those slow IL4 250s kept selling for such obnoxious money.

    Ignore that.

Bike sale on hold. Dad is on holiday so bike will be unavailable till he gets back.

    Sorry
