It'll be cheaper, easier and it will work right. Good choice.

    I am loving this build.
    I want one!

There is some seriously good work here.
Always wanted to do the R build but you have convinced me that the R is not the only model worth doing.
    Keep the updates coming.. cool.

Possible if you don't mind the 750 triple.

Somone here started one but mentioned not wanting to continue due to lack of workshop with power.

After ordering the wrong banjo brake switch thread type for the rear brakes this was the sum total of my weekend.

Trim the rear off 2 bmw car wheel caps for the tank emblems.

Wasn't to keen on the blue ones.

I always love a deal but at the moment that deal would have to be supper good like Mossy says.

    15mm master cylinder kit ordered.

Having battery issues at the moment. Does anyone in Wellington have a charger for lithium batteries I could use.
Trying to work out if my issue is lack of charge or a load on the battery while sitting.
Its going flat in 2 or 3 days while parked.
My clamp on ammeter isn't accurate in lower current situations.

    I start with 13volts and 3 days later 8-10

EDIT- Jelly has a charger I can lend. Thanks

I thought to myself why pay for seat to get made.
So being me I bought a cheap trade me cbx seat with new cover for under 30 and cut it up.

Drying in progress. Alpha Grip foaming adhesive used. Messy stuff.

Blocks underneath while glue drying hence strap over the top until tomorrow.

I cut my wifes picnic swab mat up. It took one for team Mossy Seat inc.
The plan was idd never take her on a picnic again.

    But

I left the offcuts in full view.

Just been to the warehouse. My wife owns a new mat now.

Seat dry and installed. Bit tight fitting length wise so ill do a bit of reshape on the rear bracket.

    New Master cylinder arrived.
Installed and its now 2 finger braking.
Max pull on lever was almost full travel and is now about 1/4 pull.
Powerful enough to lift the rear wheel off the ground without to much effort and great feel.
First gear is very low and not having a slipper clutch its easy to get it locking up downshifting. Need get used to that.

Im tempted to go get it certified just so I can ride it and do the paint job next year now.
Shame the zx14r needs tyres GRRR. That's enough cash to certify k100.
