Those rearsets are so simple, yet such a great piece of engineering. Ought to attempt to make a set for the K I'm doing, but there has been a request made to keep the pillion pegs and long seat so no true cafe style for me.
That BSK is a great piece of machinery, might have to find another stupidly cheap K to make one...
As it happens, Jay has the deciding influence on this K as well. He's a finger in many pies kinda guy.

They do look good and I think even though its going to be expensive to get them its worth it.
Idd just waste a lot of time making a set that wouldn't be as good and might end up costing almost as much.
Sometimes its easier to work a few more hours and buy things.

Have a look at the motorcycle section for mufflers etc here - USA $ so shipping will be a wee bit but they will give a quote via e-mail.

And someone adds the awesome solution.
I might look into these if not straight away then later on when I can afford a better system. Perhaps once on the road ill go for balanced headers and the coupling plus a good pipe.
HP isn't to much of a issue performance wise when ill have the 14 to use anyway.

Question. Repainting wheels is powdercoat the way to go or not?
I would be interested in one of those collectors if your man wants to make more than one .

There are multiple holes to put the pegs exactly where you want them.
Having said that, they're fairly industrial & nowhere near as cool as those though.
I'd be keen on a cardboard template I was thinking of "modifying" the standard ones, but any changes I make should be reversible back to stock.

Here's my $500 project when I picked it up

    and now...

    $500

You cant go far wrong for 500. In fact my rearsets are going to cost more than you paid for your bike.

I think I have sold almost 400 worth of unwanted parts.
Let me know if you want a complete original peg set to cut up.
I don't think that would be the best way to go though.

Yeah, it was a good buy, the previous owners visa was running out and he had to get rid of it It seems mechanically sound, just needs tidying up.

Enough about me..... On with your build

Theres a trend and it seems to be financial. Still if it takes a while is ok.

Been wrapping more parts to send tonight.
Maybe im asking to little for the second hand pieces.

The cleaning is still happening though a lot of ally that's dull.

Still no answers to the Question

Is powder coating the way to go for the ally wheels?

I have had good results with it. also on bicycle rims too. Plus its cheap. and durable. if it is a stock colour its pretty cheap too.
