Another day of sanding and some reassembly.
Tank had a dent. Its small and near the front.
Ill leave it and if it bugs me later ill need paint the tank again. Wondering about having it painted chrome.

    Hagon shock cleaned and installed.

Wheel are going to be gloss black at some point.
Painted the inside of the rear disk royal blue. Looks good so ill do both front disks also.

I have been trying to find a ally radiator overflow bottle but the only nice ones found so far are 2 litre and a little big unless it goes where the battery was. I am planning on getting the new age small battery replacement and putting that under the seat hump at this point.

Was hoping get a overflow small enough to go behind the radiator where the airbox was.

that stuff usually goes on exhausts and looks exactly like polished aluminium ! unsure of cost though

Sounds like a option and just let the suction hose sit at the bottom and rig a overflow hose further up?

Made up a quick front guard today. Work in progress.

Ordered the speedworks rearsets also. Cant wait for them to arrive but ill be broke for a while now.

Also having trouble finding a coolant overflow bottle or tank that I like.
All the good ones seem to be for cars and to large. Might have to buy a car one and cut it down and re-weld the base.

I hope you didn't throw the bars that came on the bike away - they look like they had my name on them. Fuck narrow bars on a heavy bike like that...I think the previous owner found that out too.

Someone on tardme was asking for them.

They have surface rust but is only surface. Will need painting.
Can do with bar end weights for $30 plus freight.
    PM me if you require.

I have clip-ons coming for mine.

Thanks. I just went through his blog. Lots of good ideas. I like his r1 front end but that's above my budget at the moment.

He spent 7.5 k on his bike after a crash. I cant see mine costing that.
Ill have my bottle in the same area but due to the lack of airbox on mine ill have more room.
The top of the housing where the airbox was isn't flash so I was thinking a stainless coolant container.
But also means if I went bottle like his I could mount and plate and then a lithium battery installed in the area also.

Rearsets are on back order now grr. $845.00 for an item with no due by date.

Also found some lithium batteries on sale but cant freight them to NZ.

I think I like his mudguard more than mine also.

How much does the bottle need to hold - I was thinking of adapting a stainless or alloy drink bottle - link below as an example - stainless at 750 cc, alloy 1l.

    Yeah mine too.
Like the colours and it does retain some of the cowling and side covers which I sort of like

Yes its nice. In fact theres a few nice ones. Theres a really low sitting double bench seat one that looks good. Its seat moulds around the original rear frame.

Did the ignition today and cleaned up and painted the fork brace.
The ignition is the original filed down to fit in what was the handle bar mount holes.
The need-it isn't hard yet so its just razor blade shaped so far.

For those wanting circuit boards. WE CAN COMBINE freight to get a lower overall cost. The $25 Canadian for circuit board is not negotiable but is a very good price.

Link to K100 thread on the boards.
