    Trade me want the market full stop!

    Heard on the radio they want to own the word 'me'
    Consulting with lawyers as to intellectual property is Trade Me's

    Therefore you cannot even own 'Fuck Me' as it implies all belongs to the mother ship.....
    Sell me
    Insure me
    rent me etc etc.....

    anyone owning sites with me at the end, look out.....
    Apparently the guru's have done their homework. Surveyed people and anything with a me on the end of it is associated with Trade Me, so therefore they want 'me'

    Enforcing that would be near impossible. If they've got money to burn you could drag people through court over it but I highly doubt they would ever win.

    They can start with the gummint and their RealMe.......can't see them winning that one, which would then either set a precedent for the rest, or create an exception that lawyers could use if someone could afford to argue the point.
