    How big a problem is there with chairs in NZ. I know that sidecars are decidely odd handling devices, with either insufficeint wheels, or to many, but in all the years of riding, I doubt if I have seen double figures of sidecars on the road.
    I guess this makes them an easy target - not enough numbers to complain and cause a political stink, but it is a solution looking for a problem. Cellphone using bimbos in SUVs are a problem, and nothing is being done about them.

    We've pretty much got it already. The LTSA has been busy churning out more & more regulations for years, to the point where there is very little you can do do a vehicle without low volume certification. It was only a matter of time before they turned their beady little bureaucrat eyes onto bikes.
