These look like they are going to be expensive.

I wonder how many rich people will die riding them.

I'd LOVE the opportunity to own one of those and learn to tame it

Nah, I'm impressed they stepped outside the box. We have all been moaning about the stale designs coming out of Japan for some years. So it's refreshing to see one of them pushing the envelope in styling and making a bold move in the powerhouse, instead of the boring tweaking the fairing colour every 2 years and adding 0.6 hp.

Being asleep is something Kawasaki can not be accused. Good on them. Hope it sells well. Don't think I need 225, 296 or 300 hp (so many numbers bandied about) for my commute and Sunday ride.

Was thinking the same thing but there ain't no 90deg V in there
On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

'Life's Journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out! Shouting, ' Holy sh!t... What a Ride!! '

Yep that's my thinking as well. Just hope the road going version looks a little less like an unfinished transformer toy...

The worst side effect might be more countries banning high powered motorcycles

Doesn't matter how much power it as it'll be restricted to 300k as per the un written law they all abide to.

Wonder if WSBK permits superchargers?? Surly MotoGP wouldn't???

I'm thinking of trading in the Scorpio on one of these. It should be just the thing for a south Wellington commute.

I was talking as much about the plastics as the frame. The lines and general appearance is very Panigale.

The naked one looks better!!!! Tank, seat, roll...

298hp? Hmm if so it will be tamed by electronics in the first 3 gears ..... they already do that with their 'lower' powered bikes.

I'd need to see it in the fesh. Too many reflections and stuff going on in those photos.
John Britten didn't have an aerospace division to get ideas and designs from.
