Essentially, a film about the Dunlop family. No, not the tyre people - the ones who race (or raced) the TT, NW200, and similar.
Full details about the film are a little thin but it doesn't shy away from the harsh realities of road racing, and covers the deaths of two of the family. Lots of on-bike footage (damn, that bridge looked too close!)

Liam Neeson narrates, and the Dunlop family have huge input into the film.

Whether it will ever get released here is another matter, but it's certainly something I'll be watching out for on DVD or whatever.

Plans are afoot to remake The Girl On A Motorcycle.

The original was made in 1968 and starred the very hot Marianne Faithful who leaves her husband to ride her Harley Davidson Electra Glide across Europe to meet her lover.

In the running for the lead role are Adele Exarchopoulous who has just finished a French lezzo flick and Cara Delevingne an English model with a a bit of a wild child reputation.
The movie was a cult hit back in the day and pretty much epitomised 60's sex and rebellion,but who cares it's a hot chick getting in and out of a tight leather catsuit...and a motorcycle is in it.

A guaranteed hit if ever there was one.

Unsure on whether or not it's getting (or has already had) a theatrical release here, but it can be purchased from Duke Video (Dukevideo.com) and is due for release on the 29th of this month (Sept).
