So, gonna see Bill Bailey. $90 a ticket, fair enough he's a funny man. Ticketek charges 2.55% +GST if you pay by credit card. Plus a fee ranging from 5.25% to $13.75 to get the fucking tickets that you have just paid for to you. What grinds my gears is that if you do venue pickup it is more expensive than having the things mailed to you.

I just see them as a pack of gouging ripoff merchants. I would of course be perfectly happy if it was "free" (i.e. built into the ticket price and not disclosed), and the tickets were $99 each.

that pisses me off too. other ticketing places are the same - you cant get away from it

order processing fee
ticket fee
credit card fee
delivery fee - some you can now print out tho for a lower fee
and shows at vector always have a land fee or something that is added on

one gig i went to was $20 but had to buy a ticket in case it sold out and had to pay another 12 in ticket fees - would rather that money go to the promotor or band
