Yep thats keystone sprinting flattack.... (with Gareth_D's bike lying on the ground in the background) ......to help the rider down until the St John's lady got there.

Big Dave and Keystone could tell you what happened as they were there at the time.

Hang on. I thought it seized. Or did it just cease?

Well, that was pretty interesting. I knew I was kinda close to the guy but that makes it look like I was really close to the guy...

We were coming into Jennian corner, I would have been doing maybe 110, he'd just gone around me on the outside when his whole rear end jumped out as you can see pretty much right in front of me.

I don't know how I managed to avoid him but did and ran out onto the grass, bike was going about 10kph or so when i dropped it. Landed on my leg but I was a bit worried about the other guy 'cause he wasn't moving. So, yeah, that's me running back to him.

He started moving just as i got to him so that was a relief. I spoke to him afterwards and he thinks his engine seized.

I went back out on the track for the last session but rode like a nana.

    I was very lucky...

Wow Jill, that sounded close! I'm glad you weren't hurt and hope the other guy hasn't done too much damage.

I was surprised to read you were out on the track again today, you must be hooked!

    Cool

Look closer at the pic of Keystone sprinting....
She sprinted with her helmet on......

No time to take it off.... just run.... and with a sore foot, after dropping the bike on her foot.

    Yeah, it was close...

    Yeah, I'm hooked...

Kind of need to process today's excitement a bit though...

    Ok, processed...

Who wants to lend me their bike for the next track day then...

I understand, especially when the guy falls off right in front of you, that would have been an eye opener!! I've seen a number of riders bin in front of me and it's not a very pleasant feeling.

    Get a good night sleep!

Add this to that mess down in Wellington a while back and still she rides the track. Brave lass to be out there still.

Glad to hear you escaped unscathed.

If you don't mind me asking, how come you're not taking the vtr out on the track?
