Planning to trade it in a couple of weeks so didn't want to risk damaging it. Gareth and I decided to go halves in the day 'cause he couldn't afford a full day and I didn't want to take the VTR out. Just as well as it turns out...

Fortunately no major damage was done to Gareth's bike though. Just some minor scratches on the fairings and the broken bit was actually already broken apparently.

Thanks Quasi for the Brake lever and brake fluid top up!

And thanks to WT for 'fixing' the headlight problem...
    Exploring pastures anew...

Awesome photos Dave. Good on you Keystone, that's pretty impressive And isn't Gareth's bike so cute in baby blue. That's it, I'm taking the FXR out for a track day as soon as I can

really pity about that guy crashing.

Team MILF Racing has been born - REMEMBER YOU SAW IT HERE FIRST!!!

keep an eye out for future developments... and more sky blue bikes with dodgy phrases on them (not to mention dodgey riders )

I had an awesome day, and my tyres (rear mainly) took a thrashing, im sure Jill and I could get our times down if i had a better rear shock, im sure the others can tell you how much it was bouncing around - it really does make it difficult to hold a line at 150kmh!

Yeah, the reason that tyre took a beating mate, is the fact that the oil has leaked out of the rear shock on your bike. You're sitting on a pogo stick with ZERO damping. Get that sussed, and you'll have a much nicer bike to ride.

yeh, it needs a rebuild... i know that for sure!!! But i think its gonna be cheaper to replace than rebuild it. Just a matter of money, its not like i like riding it like that or anything - it can make things hairy at the best of times.
