Sounds perfect to me. So far 4 bikes confirmed, I might PM some Dunedin guys to see if there's any more interest.

Weather permitting, We could show the Dunedin riders a real motorcycle road by going via Tuapeka West , or would you prefer via Beaumont?

Hmm, had similar thoughts myself and tended to lean towards the Tuepeka West road - mainly because the Beaumont road is my 'main' one to Central and I'm over familiar with it.

Pretty impresive figures Jantar, but to the layman does it mean the Manuka Gorge will be wet'n'slippery and will Chez Scumdog be a dry BBQ venue?? :spudwhat:

P.S. Just got a load of steaks, sausages and chicken nibbles brought home by C.B. (who has to work on Saturday)

If it looks too bad we could just cut Lawrence out of the loop and just head to Scumdog's place, and leave poor Jantar to make it down on his own!

Most likely is that Roads will be dry and conditions for BBQ should be good as long as we keep out of the wind.

    Sounds A1 to me!
Anybody who wants to stay the night at Chez Scumdog is welcome (as for any other KBer passing through)
Be good to have the 2nd meeting of Otago KBers eh?

Lawrence has the 'Lemon Tree' - a very good place for a cuppa, well recognised by travellers and noted in 'trendy' magazines, be a shame to miss it eh?.
