Multiculturalism is a huge fail. We havent seen the long term impacts of it yet becuase it is on a much smaller scale in NZ, the closest we have might be Lakemba in Sydney. But do refer to my next paragraph of the post you quoted me on, try to pull your denial head out of your arse.

I'm going to jump in quickly - I agree with parts of Rebel's post (although not all of it entirely) but I will ask this:

When I go to a predominantly Muslim country - I am expected to abide by Islamic law to a degree - no wearing my Iron Maiden T shirt, no importing of items deemed 'Offensive to Islam' )which translates into whatever the hell they don't like at the time), my Wife is expected to cover skin and her hair when in Public.

All this is 100% fine - its their country, their rules and as a Guest, I am expected to show respect.

When a Muslim comes to a Western country - Do we hold them to the same expectations that they hold us when we visit? the answer IMO is no. In Western civilisation, going out in public with your Identity concealed is the domain of Criminals, yet we make concessions where in the reverse situation, concessions would not be made.

And on top of that, when someone comes to another country - enjoys the freedoms, the infrastructure, the welfare systems - all the perks of modern western civilisation - and then uses this to recruit people to commit acts against said western civilisation, While continuing to enjoy those freedoms..... it certainly makes me angry to the point that I would be happy to judge them by the same yardstick that they judge their own criminals - Public stoning for example....
