A lot easier to find a bigger bike for that price.

Ill keep eyes open for you though.
You are absolutely correct mate. You can easily find a bigger bike for 2K, but not much luck on for a lam bike over 400cc.

    Thanks for that mate!

Had the carbs cleaned, balanced and tuned just before winter and a new battery at the start of the year.
Pretty rough around the edges but he is willing to consider all offers.

+1 in the market for a 400cc sports bike. My last bike was like the one above. Completely customized with race fairings and clipons, etc. Really good full framed bike with good power. And the sound of that 4 cylinder cant be beat (on the lams list).

Tell me about it. Nothing against the new lams legals (well except price) but those "old school" 4 cylinders sure are sweet.

Except the FZR and RVF, which are actually sporty?

They would be ideal but they're not exactly easy to find unfortunately

Just saw this on Facebook. Not mine or anyway related to me just thought it may have been of interest.

Its in the Bike Sale NZ Group

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/2717...60622/?fref=nf

"Got a Kawasaki zrx400. 1995. 90xxx km. Learners approved. WOF and REG. Naked/retro style bike. I have owned for about 8 months now. Good commuter. Same/similar motor to the zzr400 4cyl 4stroke, power all the way through. Brand new rear tire, new battery, new front brakes. was fully serviced 2 months ago. Has some mods: opened and derrestricted VFR exhaust, VFR rectifier, CBR coils, K&N filter, de-baffled intake, bigger jets and spaced needle. Has clip-on bars but comes with all hardware to go back to MX bars. Has bar end mirror but comes with origional mirrors. Fairings have been painted Aqua, but origional paint not scuffed first so can be removed with degreaser. Has had a drop, and while waiting for the insurance of the car at fault, we used a (suzuki?) Rear fairing and modified to fit. Can get a new zrx fairing from AliExpress for $140nz but I never got around to it. Also has dent in tank from clip-on bars from same accident... $1800 and can come with brand new never used size M helmet and size 10.5 boots if new owner wants. Auckland will consider swaps for more powerful bike and cash your way, up to $1200."

There's a few decent FZR 3TJs left, they pop up for sale occasionally
