    Seen this bike? Suspicious?

    Hi all.
    I've seen this bike
    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-783410946.htm

    Notice anything strange?
How can a Jap import have a mph speedo and English "Unleaded Fuel Only" etc decals? I asked the owner about it but he dodged the question.
I've seen other Jap Trumpies and they have kph speedos and Japanese instruction decals. If it has been exported from UK/US to Japan, and from Japan to NZ how do I verify the history of this bike?

    Is this a bit dodge?

Ask for the plate to run a carjam.co.nz report. That will tell you country of origin, recorded mileage at inspections and whether it has been stolen etc. It'll cost a couple bucks.

Bloody trainspotter. Does it really matter? & do you want it or not? They were all made in the same factory regardless of country of first rego.

    1. The bike was built in England for the Japanese market. Triumphs aren't made in Japan.

    2. Britain doesn't have metric distance measures (for motor vehicles)

    3. English vehicles use English fuel.
