Actually I think you are referring to the "new" Queenstown since Auckland affluence shifted down there! . .

OK I will book it in.

And for those who missed it, Parts of The Mighty Waikato can be fogged in till at least lunchtime......

Or for those who ride at night, esp if the moon is out from 7pm onwards there can be beautiful wispy threads or if coming down off a hill a blanket of fog with just the tree tops poking through can make a great vista.

DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

Good point - but I don't think you can call the trip into a Taupo a "Commute"

Maybe, but Steve living in Taupo raises the Auckland av IQ.

You should try getting into Taupo on a public holiday.

you can move faster in Auckland’s congestion.

like Wanganui it’s difficult to leave

Look at this fat piece of shit and the way the soft cock courts treated her misdeeds.
Nearly kills someone for crossing the road. Gets no jail time, instead all she gets is an order to sit on the couch for a few months which she prolly does anyway and a token few dollars to the victims.

A jail sentence would be a life changing event says the judge. God forbid that she should actually change anything. I guess the jails are full?

Absolutely staggering result by a New Zealand court of law - the only conclusion we could come up with is the same as pritch - the jails are full!

The people I feel most sorry for in this country are our police - with decisions like this it must be very disheartening for them "THEY NEED MORE SUPPORT" from our justice system!

It's all very easy for you armchair judges ... but unless you were there for the trial, you're reacting to news reporter's take on the case.

Personally, I'd rather trust a (real) judge and the NZ legal system than a journalist.

She should be sent to Auckland and made to drive up and down SH1 between Drury and Takanini all day for a month.
